For various reasons that don't need exploring at this juncture, I haven't been keeping up with this recs page. However, I have been reading a story that is being posted in chapters to a slash list I'm on, and I've gotten completely hooked. I generally run screaming from kid fic of any kind, thanks to beaucoups of sappy crappy kid fic in TS fandom, but this is a BtVS/AtS crossover, and it is just too much fun to resist. It's called Small Fry and the sequel is Son of Small Fry written by James Walkswithwind and The Mad Poetess. You can find it at the Wesley/Gunn archive.I'm going to sort through all the DS fic I've read lately and try to get some more recs up here soon. If nothing else, go read Chicago's Most Wanted by Speranza. It poses the question what would happen if Ben become a master criminal, and what could possibly drive him to it?
